Root canal treatment is done when the pulp, meaning the nerves and blood vessels inside the tooth, is damaged.
AT the beginning of the procedure, an X-ray of the teeth is taken to evaluate the condition of the teeth, then the treatment begins with preparation of the root canal with endodontic instruments, disinfectant solutions and special root canal filler material. The duration of the procedure greatly depends on the diagnosis and complexity of the case.
